I have been writing since elementary school with short stories and poetry. Poetry originally began as a way to express complicated emotions. In middle school, I bounced between poetry and songwriting. I published one poem in 8th grade. In high school, I carried a backpack full of poems, songs, and many incomplete novels. During that time I did publish an additional poem. I completed my associate’s degree in Liberal Arts and had one of my poems published in the college paper.

Outside of education, I continued writing to help process emotions, turn nightmares into stories and have dabbled with plays. After decades of writing, I realized I had enough poems with a theme to create an Anthology. I had promised myself I would publish at least one book of my poetry. I am going to deliver on that promise soon. I will not limit myself to just one book though as ideas keep generating for other themes. Since the passing of family members, the concept that all we are are stories in the end has pushed me to see this through.

I appreciate your interest and time you took to read my work.

Thank you,
